Vanessa is a Production Designer who works in film and television.
Most recently Vanessa designed ADDITION, directed by Marcelle Lunam, produced by Made Up Stories Productions, starring Teresa Palmer which is due for release in 2024.
Vanessa’s latest credits includes FORCE OF NATURE designed with respected Australian director/producer Robert Connolly, starring Eric Bana, produced by Arena Films and Made Up Stories Productions with its cinematic release in 2024. In 2023 Vanessa designed RUN RABBIT RUN with highly acclaimed Australian director Daina Reid, starring Sarah Snook, produced by Carver Films and XYZ Films.
Previously in her career Vanessa worked as a highly accomplished, award-winning Set Decorator having worked with some of Australia’s leading designers and best international designers on numerous film and television productions. Projects such as FOE collaborating with Patrice Vermette for See Saw films, Anonymous Content, THE LEFTOVERS with John Paino for HBO, SHANTARAM with Mark Digby and Michelle Day for Apple TV, RELIC and PARTISAN with Steven Jones-Evans for Carver Films, PREDESTINATION and WINCHESTER with Matthew Putland , Sony Pictures and CBS Film.
Vanessa has an academic background in fine arts, art curatorship and interior design and lectures at the University of Melbourne.
